Aim 16 weeks
Patients
Aim 2850 patients (at least 1250 JEWEL I, at least 1300 JEWEL II), aged 18–80 years, with hypertension and elevated LDL cholesterol, both treated or untreated
Treatment regimen
Single-pill amlodipine and atorvastatin, 5/10 mg/day, titrated to 10/80 mg/day, at the discretion of the physician
