Disease |
AMI |
Purpose |
To examine the effects of glucose-insulin-potassium (GIK) infusion as an adjunct to reperfusion therapy in patients with AMI |
Study design |
Randomised, open |
Follow-up |
Aim 30 days and 1 year |
Patients |
Aim 1044 patients with AMI, eligible for thrombolysis or primary percutaneous coronary intervention and without signs of heart failure |
