To evaluate the efficacy and safety of fosinopril in reducing the incidence of fatal and nonfatal major cardiovascular events in haemodialysis patients with left ventricular hypertrophy

397 patients, mean age 66.7 ± 8.04 years, undergoing haemodialysis for at least 6 months and with cardiac mass index > 131 g/m2 for men and > 100 g/m2 for women
