Aim 7000 patients, aged ≥ 18 years, hospitalised for the management of decompensated heart failure
Treatment regimen
Nesiritide, 2 µg/kg iv bolus followed by 0.010 µg/kg/min, or placebo
Concomitant therapy
Standard therapy at the discretion of the physician
