Follow-up
Aim 2 years
Patients
Aim 500 patients, aged > 18 years, with recent (< 4 days) PCI for ST-segment or non-ST-segment elevation MI
Treatment regimen
Atorvastatin, 10–20 mg/day, or pravastatin, 10–20 mg/day, to target LDL cholesterol < 100 mg/dl. Ezetimibe, 10 mg/day, added after 4 weeks if target LDL cholesterol not achieved
