Aim 1800 patients, aged ≥ 18 years, with acute ischaemic stroke with a baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale of ≥ 6
Treatment regimen
Human serum albumin, high dose of 2 g/kg iv in 2 h, or isovolaemic normal saline
